Pioneering Biotechnology in Chhattisgarh Adithya Biotech Lab and Research Private Limited (ABLR) is a pioneering biotechnology company and the first commercial tissue culture lab in Chhattisgarh. Founded in 1996 by Patron Shri Swaroopchand Jain, ABLR transformed regional agriculture by introducing tissue culture-raised banana plants thereafter high sugar content. Sugarcane plants were tissue culture and provided to farmers resulting in establishing of 4 new Sugar Mills in Chhattisgarh. (The state had none) Similarly bamboo and eucalyptus were tissue culture for large scale plantations in the state.
ABLR specializes in producing and supplying high-quality planting materials, including tissue culture plants and vegetable seeds, to farmers across Chhattisgarh and neighboring states such as Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Bihar. The company has played a pivotal role in transitioning traditional single-cropping rice cultivation to high-yield tissue culture-based banana and sugarcane farming.
