About The Company

Aditya Biotech Lab and Research Private Limited (ABLR) is the pioneer lab in Chhattisgarh to introduce tissue culture raised banana plant. Its the first commercial tissue culture lab established in the region in the year 1996 by our Founder Chairman Mr. Swaroopchand Jain. Since then ABLR has been producing and supplying good quality planting material such as tissue culture raised plants & vegetable seeds, to the local farmers.

ABLR has played vital role in changing the concept of routine farming practice of local farmers from single cropping of rice to cultivation of Tissue Culture (TC) raised banana and sugarcane. The tissue culture plant production unit of Aditya Biotech Lab and Research Pvt. Ltd. has been duly recognized by Dept. of Biotechnology under NCS-TCP certification system (TC2008/C020/1). The certification endorses the standard operating procedures (SOP) and the quality of Tissue culture plants produced in our lab. The TC raised plants (banana, sugarcane, bamboo, eucalyptus etc) and vegetable seeds produced in ABLR are supplied in different districts of Chhattisgarh as well as neighboring states such as Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Bihar. ABLR has been part of success stories and prosperity of several farmers of these regions, which were otherwise involved in conventional cultivation practice.

  • Certificate of recognition from Dept. of Biotechnology under NCS-TCP certification system - TC2008/C020/2.
  • Recognition of Research and Development (R&D) Unit from Dept. of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India.
  • ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company
Biotechnology is considered as a very advanced, complex and costly discipline of science in modern times. We, at Aditya Biotech Lab & Research P. Ltd. (ABLR), have a dream to make use of Biotechnology at rural livelihood level by simplifying the latest techniques. The overall effort of ABLR is to train and enhance the capacity of any individual to become a biotech-entrepreneur and serve the mankind with sustainable prosperity.

The lab works with a mission to undertake world class research and development projects in biotechnology with an eye on utilization of bio-wealth of Chhattisgarh, and extend the technologies developed to the farmers spread across the length and breadth of the state.

To accomplish our missions, the lab has set up the following objectives:

  • Conducting innovative research work in the field of plant biotechnology, development of varieties of cereal and horticultural crops using biotechnological interventions and molecular characterization and improvement of orphan crops of Chhattisgarh.
  • Identification, characterization and utilization of local bio-diversity of millets, aromatic and medicinal plant species present in Chhattisgarh for commercial purpose.
  • Technically enriching local farming and agriculture based industry to promote self-reliance of the state.
  • Development of technopreneurship in the state to contribute to its economic and hence social status.
